Organic Rosehip Oil

Recently Revina and Marion travelled to the beautiful Daintree rainforest in far north qld. While we were on holidays we both indulged in facials and massage at an organic day spa. It reminded us how important it is to take time out during busy times and how beautiful and radiant you feel after these types of services.

It is important for all brides to do something indulgent for themselves as well for their skin to look its very best on their special day. We were recommended a great product called Organic Rosehip oil which has been proven to dramatically hydrate dry skin. After trying a brand called Trilogy (available at Myer) I am convinced this is a lovely product that really makes a difference to the feel and look of your skin. Once again Marriage is every girl's dream!

It seems the trend now days is a return to old fashion values and woman are once again free to take up a role as a house wife or mother after marriage without the pressures of having to return to work or being a career woman. Being single is great but I am sure after awhile a woman naturally feels an inner urge to become a couple and eventually if all is well, create a family. The most wonderful thing about being a woman in modern society is choice. We can choose and create a life that suits with loads of support and encouragement for all options, gone are the days of heavy judgments and woman being trapped in one type of role. Although we have moved beyond woman’s liberation we should be grateful to those who removed the restrictive social standards for what a married woman’s role was.

Winter's Honeymoon Pick

The Daintree rainforest is about 21/2 hours from Cairns airport in sunny QLD. Cape Tribulation is the ultimate romantic seclusion experience. You can literally stay in amongst the trees of the rainforest with the Great Barrier reef at your doorstep. If you truly want to spend hours lazing on a private beach and walking through the forest then this spot is for you. There is no TV reception, mobile phone coverage or commercial shops to distract you from a wonderful nature experience. What better way to truly connect with your husband than to experience a honeymoon at The Daintree rainforest. Don’t forget to try Whet Bar and Cafe, the food is great for such a remote location and you can even catch a movie there on beanbags or lazy boys with a glass of wine after dinner and have a chat to the colourful locals.

Big Hair Everywhere

This season is all about big, tousled glamorous hair. Think Barbie, Sophia Loren and Amy Winehouse. Large curls teased at the roots gives the hair volume and if you leave the curl without brushing it you get a defined yet volumous curl fit for the most Gala event. For bridal hair be creative adding accessories such as tulle, feathers or large silk flowers that sit at the side of your head. Dont be afraid to make a statement with your hair, you are wearing a wedding gown so remember big glamorous hair will not look over done.
